Decarbonisation of Carterton Leisure Centre
19/05/2023 - Decarbonisation of Carterton Leisure Centre
The Chief Executive Resolves that the Council enters into contract with Kier for the development of an Investment Grade Proposal for sustainable low carbon heating and energy generation systems at Carterton leisure centre at a cost of £243,000 funded from the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme funding of £1.6M awarded to the Council.
The Chair of the Council agreed to the urgency and to waive call in.
18/11/2022 - Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS3b) of Carterton Leisure Centre
Councillor Andrew Prosser the Cabinet Member for Climate Change introduced the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS3b) of Carterton Leisure Centre, for Cabinet to consider and review the PSDS3b (Public Decarbonisation Scheme) grant application process, including the proposed stages, associated costs and risks.
Councillor Prosser proposed approval of officer recommendations, seconded by Councillor Levy and Cabinet agreed.
That Cabinet resolved to:
a) Support the proposed application process;
b) Approve a pre contract at risk budget of £53,000
