Information about Oxfordshire Growth Board
The Oxfordshire Growth Board is a joint committee with members drawn from Oxfordshire County Council and each of the City and District Councils in the county, plus representatives from other organisations.
Its purpose is to manage the delivery of the cross county projects specified as priorities in the county Strategic Economic Plan. These include road improvements, improvements to rail facilities and the establishment of training and skills centres to enhance the employability of local people. The funds for these projects come from Government together with match funding from private businesses and local councils.
The meetings are administered and hosted on a rota basis and currently South Oxfordshire District Council is the hosting authority. For the documents for meetings of the Board in the period since November 2018 please go to http://democratic.southoxon.gov.uk/ieDocHome.aspx?Categories= and choose "Oxfordshire Growth Board" from the list of meetings on that page.
