Proposal for transfer of land in Chipping Norton
Purpose:
To request authority for the Council to transfer land at Walterbush Road in Chipping Norton to the Chippy Community Land Trust Ltd on the terms detailed in the report.
Recommendations:
That the Executive resolves to:
- Approve the transfer of the land at Walterbush Road in Chipping Norton to the Chippy Land Trust Ltd on the terms detailed in the report;
- Delegate authority to the Director of Finance, in consultation with Executive member for Finance and the Executive Member for Housing and Community Safety to approve the final terms of the transfer of the land.
- Approve the award of £190,000 of additional grant from West Oxfordshire in order for the scheme to be delivered as 100% Social Rent tenure
